The Falcon Lake incident is considered one of the most documented cases of UFO encounters in history, and UFO researchers consider it physical evidence of an encounter with extraterrestrial spacecraft.
The incident occurred on May 19, 1967, and the only participant was Stephen Michalack, a mechanic by profession but silver prospecting by hobby.
He was out enjoying his hobby when he encountered two UFOs, one of which touched the ground as it landed in his area.
Two objects glowing red
Micalak, a resident of Winnipeg, Canada, was on vacation in Whiteshell Provincial Park. He knew the area well, having prospected there several times after being told about quartz veins near Falcon Lake.
He woke up early on the morning of May 19, 1967, and several hours later found a vein of the precious metal. He paused for lunch and then resumed prospecting. Shortly after noon, Micalak heard a flock of geese.
He looked up to see them and was greatly surprised to see two oblong objects descending toward the ground. They glowed red, and the closer they got to him, the more they looked like a saucer. As he watched them with great fear, a UFO hovered in the middle!
An object lands on a large rock
The second UFO continued descending until it finally landed on a large rock approximately 46 meters away from Micalak. As the first flying object moved away from the site, its lights changed from red to orange and then to gray before disappearing into the clouds.
The descending UFO also began changing colors in the same order as the first UFO, eventually appearing gray like hot steel.
As Micalak watched the strange flying object, he noticed very bright purple lights coming from openings on the object's front. Fortunately, he was wearing protective sunglasses, which helped protect his eyes.
The sulfur smell was now overwhelming his nostrils, and he also heard a hissing sound coming from the craft that must have come from another world, and his curiosity was getting the better of him now.

A hole appears in the UFO
Regaining his composure, he drew a picture of the UFO, yet it didn't move from where it had been standing half an hour earlier. Then, an opening appeared on the object, allowing him to see inside the UFO. The interior of the craft was lit up like a Christmas tree.
Curiosity got the better of him again, and he tried to get closer to the UFO. The craft was now about 28 meters away, so he decided to move even closer.
Finally, Michalak reached the door. He looked inside and saw frames of different colors, and beams of light intersecting with each other like protective laser beams. The frame beams resembled color displays on a computer screen.
He couldn't see any living beings on board, but he decided to move away from the UFO. The three frames quickly closed, and then the door disappeared.
Physical damage
As Michalak examined the exterior of the craft, he reached out to touch it. He described it as highly polished glass with no scratches or wrinkles on the surface.
When his hand touched the craft, his glove melted from the intense heat. The object then moved! He could now see an opening approximately 23 cm long and 15.5 cm wide.
The heat radiating from this opening burned his outer and inner shirts, and he quickly removed them, screaming in pain.
He could see the craft rising into the sky above him. He could also feel gusts of air as the craft left the ground. His immediate need was medical attention.
Before leaving the area, he tried to leave a mark by collecting debris, rocks, and anything else he could find. He now suffered from a severe headache, broke out in a cold sweat, and felt extremely nauseous.
He eventually arrived at a Winnipeg hospital, where he received treatment for severe burns on his chest and his nausea. They also noticed that these burns had a grid pattern similar to the one he had described (a grid of small craters) at the bottom of the UFO.
Was it a real confrontation?
Michalak was known for his honesty and reliability, and was an honest man who wasn't used to making money simply by fabricating false and imaginary stories.
He paid for his medical expenses out of his own pocket, including visits to Mayo Hospital in Minnesota. In an attempt to recoup some of his money, he wrote a booklet about his experience at Falcon Lake, but that too lost money.
Falcon Lake Incident Investigation Results
In late June 1967, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) became interested in Michalak's claims. At the time, they were unable to locate the incident themselves. On June 1, they took Michalak with them. However, he was unable to locate the location, casting doubt on his claims. The RCMP also determined that Michalak had consumed several beer bottles the night before his UFO sighting.
On June 26, Michalak located the location and recovered the personal items he had left there. The RCMP took soil samples from the location, and the results came back negative.
On July 28, Michalak and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police officers identified a semi-circular shape on the rocky surface at the site, approximately 15 feet (4 meters and 30 centimeters) in diameter, where the moss had been removed.
Radioactive traces were also found in the rocky outcrop in the center of the area, but no radioactive traces were found around the circular area or in the moss or grasses beneath the outcrop.
The radioactive material found in the rock fissure was radium-226, a naturally occurring radioactive isotope with widespread commercial uses and also found in nuclear waste.
They concluded that the radiation levels emitted by it did not pose a threat to humans in the area. The Canadian government has deemed the Falcon Lake incident unsolved.
Thus, after the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, the Royal Canadian Air Force, and government and civilian groups concerned with UFOs had investigated, and after the Condon Commission had conducted its investigations, there was nothing left to investigate. However, they found nothing to refute Michalak's testimony.
In any case, Michalak remains one of the few people to have been injured in an encounter with a UFO.
Falcon Lake Incident Analysis
The difficulty of such phenomena lies not in their occurrence and believability, but in the way they are interpreted. The facts and incidents of UFOs have accumulated over decades, allowing for explanations, hypotheses, and a comparative approach.
What caught my attention was the smell of sulfur, a smell known to be associated with the presence of jinn in the area.
There are other facts about the appearance and variety of colors. Are they monsters? Or are they cloned, programmed creatures sent by other beings via UFOs?
Are they a type of jinn that has reached this stage of evolution? Did they come from the interior of the Earth, from the depths of the sea, or from other planets?
What also caught my attention was the appearance and variety of colors depending on the movement of the UFO. The answer lies in the physics of wavelengths, as well as the psychology of colors and their relationship to visual perception.
